1 cup sugar
1 tsp each: Cinnamon, Cloves, Allspice, and Ginger or 4
tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
3 cups pumpkin puree
1½ 12-oz cans of evaporated milk
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
Lay a pie pan with your favorite homemade pie crust.
Mix all pie ingredients with a hand blender or mixer, and
pour on crust.
Cover crust edges with foil and bake at 425° for 15 mins,
then 350° for 45 minutes.
Caramelize topping ingredients in a medium to low
heated saucepan. Sprinkle pecan topping on pie and bake
for another 15 mins at 325°
